Thumbs up

YOU HAVE A VERY NICE SELECTION WITH A LOT OF VARIATIONS. ITS UNUSUAL TO SEE THAT MANY WITH NO TWO ALIKE. THE VARIATIONS IN THE DESIGNS ON THE LEATHER SCABBARDS ARE INTERESTING TOO.

Based on recently acquired pieces of information this kind of Somali daggers (in Hargeisa called "toorei") should come from the Somaliland region. They are allegedly still produced by Gaborye clan and used by all Somaliland clans (Ishaq, Issa, Darod, Gudabiri).
