A lot of those blades look like Mora blades.

I expect importing blades is an old tradition.

hi, no the blades are all locally made, they make them from circular saw blades and such, there was a youtube video of somebody making one some place i saw , they also make other hale killing tools and such ..
i think a lot of hunters make their own knives..
for example you can even see the makers marks on their blades in one image i posted which was from a maker selling it on a faroe website..
