Sulu Kris for Sale

Greetings folks!

I am selling my first Sulu kris. It has a laminated steel blade made in the 1940s-1960s. No separable ganga (an engraved line to suggest one) but it does have a burled wood pommel, narra wood scabbard with rattan wrap. The hilt is wrapped in woven black string. A silver ferrule is at the bottom of the hilt wrap. Silver asang-asang clamps hold onto the base of the blade. Also at the base of the blade is some chiseling on both sides. The blade is half wavy and half straight, and insanely sharp.

Nice recent piece. Light and also great for bladed escrima. Got this 25 years ago from Kris Cutlery.
