Hello my dear friend,

they are actually a luxery version from that era of cutlery knives used by the military (officers) and a few rich merchants or the aristocracy (begs) in the old Balkan Ottoman days for what they called and still call in Bosnia an akšamluk (= evening gathering of friends or colleagues for some nice food and a few drinks) in the old days in the open field or in the nature along a river, nowadays in the weekendhouse. Something like a trousse but knives only.

so... answered your question, that raises mine: when can we come to your rostilj..? ☺☺☺
I shall bring the Dingač ☼☼☼
