Default Old moro kris keris with ivory pommel

Hi guys, here is the kris keris I was talking about on my last thread. Sorry for the pictures, I will post a clearer picture of the pommel later. He has 2 more on his possession but he is not willing to let go of it yet. Will post it also if I get it someday. By the way, how do you test an ivory if it is real or not? I've heard that you heat a needle and stick it in the ivory, if it does not get burned it is real. Is it right? Thanks.

The hot needle is to determine if it is plastic or not. Ivory will not melt.

THE HANDLES I HAVE SEEN LIKE YOURS EITHER HAD IVORY OR BONE. I CAN'T TELL FOR SURE FROM THE PICTURES BUT JUDGEING FROM WHAT I CAN SEE WOULD SAY IT IS MOST LIKELY IVORY. THE CRACKS AND COLOR BEING TWO INDICATORS.
