Default A box of swords and a shield

Arrived last Saturday. All I really wanted was the cut-down spear and the Barung with the broken hilt. The more I play with the rest the more I like it.

The spear looks more Indonesian to me, but close ups will help.

Like Spunger said, close ups of the barong please! Looks like a great brass inlaid blade. Love to have one like that.

You luck out with so many of these things!

Congrats! (grumble, grumble, envy, envy.... )

you might be spot on, batara , it's just that i was using sulu's generic term for spear. but anyways, are the inlays on de barung 100% intact?

Wouldn't you know it, it was sunny yesterday and today rain from am to pm, too dark in the Pacific NorthWest to be taking photos.
Here are photos of the mace that I took yesterday.
The spear is indonesian, kinda looks like the one that Royston posted recently.

Right Spunjer I need to clean it up.

Guys the Barung is not brass inlaid. The design looks etched on the blade. Look at the poor photo and give me your thoughts on this.

The mace is fantastic! Love the wide blades/flanges, and 'acorn' terminal!
