Default what have I got....

in a mixed lot of several cold weapons from Indonesia, I received this one.
Being out of my (Ottoman & Balkanic) comfort zone....
I have no idea whether it belongs to the Indonesian region or not...

so any advice is more than welcome!

total length 29 cm
blade 18 cm
grip 11 cm
"ferrule" 1,3 cm -> made out of organic material;
looks like leather ( my guess is reptile) but wouldn't put my money on that...

The blade and guard are very similar to the German 1st World War trench dagger.
