Default Get your ingots out from hiding

Does anyone have ingots, for paperweights, or other purposes?

Pleas photograph them and let us see the pictures with weight and measurers.

They were made in different shapes like, egg shaped, pear shaped, loaf shaped, round, oval(?) and probably in other shapes too, not to mention, that at least several of them were also made in different sizes. AS I understand it, each shape tells from where it came – unless the also faked it at that time.

I know that Gene has shown some on the thread on ‘Magnetism’, and I hope he will be willing to show them here too, just like I hope that others will show what they have.

I think it would/could be interesting to see the different shapes of ingots, traded over many hundreds of years – in one place.

Thumbs up See Dr Ann

JENS
You are correct in that I have in the past posted pictures of crucible steel ingots.
However in keeping my promise to Dr Ann I have sent all that I have to her.
Which is really a good thing, as she could give you and the other forum folks far more information than I ever could on the items.
I would think others of the froum would have some crucible steel items that could and should be shown.
Gene.

Does this mean that only Gene has an ingot or two?
I doubt that very much - so please get out from hiding and send some photos.
Everyone wants to gain from the knowledge of the forum, but fewer wants to...
