Default Small medieval riding sword of type XVIIIC

Medieval riding sword of type XVIIIC
O.L. 71 cm ; blade L. 58 cm; blade width at hilt 7 cm
Grip: one hand about 8 cm
Blade: cross marks in the 2 sides
Pommel : brass pommel ( Oakeshott type Q)
Cross guard 11.7 cm .
Period : 15 th century

What are those marks on the blade ?

Fernando,
A sword with same cross marks is in the Royal armouries in Leeds .
“A Distinctive Group of Swords from the Arsenal of Alexandria”, by Clive Thomas (Park Lane Arms Fair catalogue 2003) see page 37
