Default Fox's mark on English swords

Could you help colleagues from Ethnographic Arms & Armour? Was there such a mark on English swords?

Default Mark

Hi!

To me that animal looks more a squirrel...?

But English swords I don't know anything.
Only that they are good.

best regards Markku
