Default New purchase

Yesterday I win by ebay this keris. Primary I bid on this keris because the sheath (I hope that the kendit isn't painted) and the topengan pendok with the turtle shell insert. The sheath is split but I think that this will be easily to be restored. Blade seems in my eyes typical Madura.
Here the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/150702809692...84.m1439.l2649

Any opinions?

Regards,

Detlef

Hi Rick,

will see at the break if the kendit is painted or not but agree that the tips of the wrongko seems to be painted. It will be a very precious sheath when it is an authentic timoho sheath. So it's again an ebay gamble.
I think that the restauration don't will take a lot of time and work but let us see when I have it in my hands.

Regards,

Detlef
