Errr...yes we sure did. But it's not the grand champion, though... just one of the category winner.

Oh, everyone should look at the non-keris pics from the event too. The theme is so rich and colourful; an uplifting of the spirits just to see the pics.

This shd go into the mugshot thread, but I thought it'd be appropriate here too. 1 Javanese and 5 Malays. (Dress-wise, that is)

Somehow can't see any mention of Paul anywhere in any pictures. Still don't know how that renowned guy looks...

Unfortunately, Paul was not able to make it for the event, although he supported it. He's a shy kind of person, humble and fun to be with.

I guess when one has such a fantastic and precious collection as Paul's, one would like to remain low profile... Let me know when you are coming to Singapore. I'm sure we can get you to Paul's place to look at his collection.

But we'll have to blindfold you on the way there because the location is 'Classified'. Just joking. We'll get you there in comfort.

Hey, you've done pretty well yourself in so short a time and of course without doubt there are great keris collectors at other parts of the globe that are low profiled and hopefully we'll get to get more of their goodies as the world gets smaller and through the increased convenience of the net. There is a list of "must see" in the next round to spore including all of yours, Tengkurizan's, Shah's etc.
