Default A sorry kindjal blade for ID

Firstly I must add that this is not mine. It belongs to a friend (part time dealer) and I don't know his plans for it.
Anywhooo, I thought that despite its hideous condition it was an interesting piece, so I've borrowed it for a few days.
Can anyone ID the area of manufacture or comment on the triple identical cartouches?
Notice the asymetric shoulders and previously mended (with brass) remains of a tang.

LOL, I think its even too far gone for me Gav. I was just interested because of the strange tang and shoulders on the blade.
You think it's Turkish, or further east?
