Default knife of central américa , identification please

It measures 30 cm long, the blade 20 cm
the blade is engraved, salvador, so I think that this knife just in this country, it seems old, on the other side of the blade I think it is a serious snake..
.a man's head is also engraved with a few letters..


.can you give me your opinion please

Olá a todos, a faca apresentada é uma ‘’faca de ponta’’, foi produzida no estado da Bahia, região nordeste do Brasil.
O nome SALVADOR, escrito na lamina, é uma alusão a capital do estado.
A figura da cabeça de um homem que esta no ricasso, é uma homenagem a Jose Maria da Silva Paranhos Junior, importante diplomata brasileiro, que foi responsável por varias tratativas sobre as fronteiras brasileiras.
As letras que aparecem sobre a figura é; RIO BRANCO , uma referencia ao titulo de nobreza de Jose Maria, que era Barão do Rio Branco.
Quanto a data de produção da lamina, levando em conta os dados históricos, e características da lamina é do inicio do ano de 1900, já que Jose Maria recebeu o titulo em 1889 e faleceu em 1912.
