Default Latest Find

Hello everyone, this small dagger is my latest addition. Although the blade is not in the best of condition I still think it to be a rather nice find. The wood hilt is of kamagong wood with silver fittings and cross guard. The guard is interesting as the ends are in the shape of crosses. Only one of the hilts wire wrappings are still in place with the twisted one missing. The remnants were still intact but I have removed them in preparation on replacement. The overall length is 11-1/4 inches with a 7-1/2 inch blade that is 3/4 inches at its widest point. I believe this to be another Luzon piece and hope that I will get confirmation of that from the experts. As always any comments and information on this piece would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Robert
