Default Kirill Rivkin's site

historyswords.com

"Strongly" is not a word with which I would recommend reading it.
Kirill went into a different dimension of looking at Oriental ( his fancy) swords.
The essays are highly informative, unexpected, often sarcastic and sometimes purposefully cynical.

He is a " quantifier", as befits his Physics PhD background. There is not a drop of sentimentality or thoughtless adoration. Everything must be proven.

Hopefully, this read will awaken some of hidden followers: that is how academic research must be done.

Well said Ariel, research can often result in rugged interaction, as has often been seen, but the character of these kinds of essays are thought provoking which I believe is the intent. Proof is essential, for things that can be empirically studied. Kirill is of course brilliant and excels in these fields.
May we know the link to his site?
