personally I think it is approx. 20 years older. The iron ferrule and the stitching of the leather scabbard let me think like this.
The blade shape is like a dahong palay when I remember correct. There is a catmon flower in up from the scabbard, normally a Panay indication so I a really unsure about the origin.
