Maker Mark/I.D.
Hello all. This is a miquelet lock from an Algerian Rifle. This photo looks like it might be a Maker's mark or I.D. If so, can anyone translate this? Thanks for any help. Rick.

Dom: So sorry. I did not remember. I will from this point forward. Thanks. This is an Algerian rifle from likely the early to mid 1800's. This is a restoration I just completed. It has a modern steel barrel liner installed inside the original barrel for safe shooting. The new barrel bands were made by Armourer John Katz. The lock is the typical toe-lock style miquelet. Other than the normal decoration the only mark I can find is on the bottom of the lock as shown in the first photo above. Probably won't tell me much, but it might be interesting (?) to know.
