Martin, thank you for stiring the pot. One cannot fail to see this as a strong representation of matriarchal power, the route of many Central East African peoples. I think it would have been carved by a man even in a Matriarchal society. I think it is so clever, carved without arms making a flowing form. The power and sensousness is most pleasing All the more special and attrative to me. Big Mama's, not really my type.
