Default Bronze lion around 1500?

Hello gentlemen,

I know it's not a sword, but Wendelin Boeheim once said that in the field of edged weapons you also have to deal with the art and style of the time. so I want to use your crush knowledge to find out more about this bronze. The lion is 6cm high, weighs about 170g and is made of 2 parts. I think he's out of time. attached is a piece of wood from around 1500

It could be Indian, with those Tipuesque bubri on the flanks.
Best wishes
Richard
