Default Only 'modern' or 'new' kerises from Indonesia?

Sampurasun...

Hi All!

I was recently informed that Indonesia bans kerises which are over 50 years old from leaving the country. If this is true then it implies that kerises coming out of Indonesia today are either contraband or modern/new pieces. Can someone please clarify/elucidate.
Much obliged.

Cheers.

Hello to all

Indeed it seems to be a problem exporting artifacts like keris. On the other hand,if someone offer a little "tip" to the employees,I think there is no problem.

Gentlemen , I am afraid that this thread will devolve into tips and hints as to how one circumvents the laws of a country and indeed it has in the last post.
As you may or may not know the subject of circumventing national laws is not one that is allowed for discussion here .

I am locking this thread .
