Default LARGE BRONZE / BRASS SPEAR

Another mystery at least for me is this 160 cm long bronze or brass spear which I have . It weighs over 1.6 kg. Can any one explain to me why it would be made of brass / bronze , and also where it originates from ? I assume its African but dont know.

Yes Tim it looks very simuilar to mine indeed , except that the 'rings at the butt of mine are a bit squashed. This is very interesting info ... so in my attempts to thin down my 'heap' and just keep items from the northern part of Africa , I know this can go on the 'to dipose of' pile. Much obliged Tim
