Default Sumatra Pedang with Arabic inscriptions

This looks like a panel from a Persian Qajar(or earlier) era trade blade, and I would not be surprised if the blade was some grade of wootz. Can you etch it, or see wootz in the blade?

These Persian trade blades can be seen all over the Muslim world in the mid-late 19th cent. The can be strongly curved, somewhat curved or straight. They can also be found in a variety of "grades" regarding quality in both mounts and wootz.
