Question Dagger ID Confirmation Needed

This is another dagger that I've had for awhile. When I first found this dagger the previous owner had been using it to stir paint with. That is why it is a bit on the over cleaned side. It is 14-1/4 inches in total length with a 9-3/4 inch blade. The blade at its widest point is 1 inch and 1/4 at the thickest point. Brass fittings with a horn grip. I believe that this could be from the Philippines but would appreciate everyones comments and opinions on its origin of manufacture and possible age as I've never seen one quite like this before. Sorry about the picture quality but because of having to be taken indoors I had to use a flash. Thank you.

Is the tang full-length? Can we see the end of the pommel?
I'm 90% with you on it being from the Phillipines, though of course deliberately/imitatively European styling (the round handle and ferules) can obscure that a bit.

Hello Tom, And thank you for your reply. Now that the forum is back up and running I can answer your question. I should have mentioned in the original post that the tang is of full length and is then peened over at the end of the hilt. I will have to take some new pictures of the end of the hilt though, the ones that I had taken originally did not turn out and that is why there were none posted.
