Default Scottish dirk made by McClain 4 sale

Hi again folks,

I have one more puppy to sell (sadly), it is a custom Scottish dirk made by McClain, made in the form of a "whinger" an extremely scarce dirk form from NE Scotland. The blade has notches on the spine and steel mounts with a grip of solid walrus ivory. Sheath is made of decorated stamped leather with steel mounts. The "M" on the blade is his signature. Some have tried to pass this type of his work for the original antique one (worth $25,000 US? ). Last I spoke with this wonderful knife maker, he said that he would charge $700 US to make one like this today.

My asking price?: $600 US

Just met with Glen McClain over the weekend and he had a similar style dirk for sale with wood (not ivory) handle for $650.00 US. FYI.
