Default Minature Moro Kris?

Can anyone share impressions about this small Moro kris? In total, it is about 18 inches long and the blade alone is about 13 inches.

Thanks for any information!

A 1950s Sulu made piece, possibly for a child.

The length of the scabbard looks longer than the blade. It looks like the tip of the blade broke and was reshaped. The size of the hilt (5 in.?),suggests that it was made for an adult.

I agree with Kino, the hilt is large and out of proportion for the rest of this kris. It seems more likely that it has been shortened at some point.
I also wonder at the likelihood of creating a kris blade for a child in post WWII Philippines.

Actually I have seen such examples and pictures of boys with little kris, even little gunongs.

Maybe is it a cut down kris..............I guess I over looked the measurements.
