Default Bugi Keris whis strange bone hilt.

Hello,

I would like to have your opinion on this bugis keris that I think comes from Sulawesi.
The scabbard and blade are classic but the bone handle is more unusual.
What do you think?

The peculiar bird hilt (made from bone?) does not originate from Sulawesi IMO but more probably Sumatra, and may be the whole kris also? (sepokal style blade with wide gusen). The selut is too wide for the hilt.
Regards

Ok thanks, I always have a lot of trouble with this type of blade and sheath to make a distinction in those originating in Sulawesi and those coming from Sumatra or Malaysia.
Yes the handle is bone is the salt is too big, but I received it like that.
