Default Double Headed Wooden Spear .....?????????

I recently bought a group of items and this was listed as a double headed wooden spear; even I knew that was absurd ! I believe this to be some type of bucket carrier;can anyone confirm ?

I AGREE IT LOOKS LIKE A FORM OF CARRIER FOR BUCKETS OR BUNDLES. I SEEM TO REMEMBER READING SOMEWHERE OF SOME GROUP WHO HAD BUCKET CARRIERS DESIGNED SO THAT THEY COULD ALSO SERVE AS WEAPONS WHEN NEEDED. PERHAPS SOME MEMBER HAS THAT INFORMATION ?
