Default where this one came from?

I met this keris yesterday. It came in a jogjanese sandalwood gayaman.
The keris it self shows a very beautiful whelding pattern, the iron and the slorok really amazed me. I really need the Information about its origin. is it a javanese keris or a malay keris/palembang?

I think when it is from might be as interesting a question as where it is from.

Doesn't look much Like Jowo to me Ferry --- rondha, sogokan, blumbangan, kembang kacang, pawakan, gandik.Even the material. From the pic I cannot guess where it might be from. Maybe Jawa Timur? Or maybe Sumatera Selatan?
Somewhere with Jawa influence but not a direct connection.

I agree with you Alan.
I can not be a java keris. the pijetan is wide and tall and shallow.
the material shows so much slorok. and doesnt look like a javanese material.

Ferry, by "slorok" are you referring to the "window" of darker iron at the center of the blade? I don't believe i have ever here the word applied in this manner.

David, the word "slorok" can have a number of meanings, it can mean something that slides over something else, or it can mean a drawer, but when we apply it to a keris blade, we are talking about the core of the blade, the relationship being that the core is something that we have slid between the two billets of pamor material in the making of the blade.

There is another application with keris too, in some pendok there is a loose panel that slides down behind a filigreed panel in the front of the pendok, this loose backing panel is the slorok; in some other types of pendok it can be the major loose front panel that is the slorok.

Thank You guys for your responses. I'm still confuse about its origin.
for this moment I just conclude this is not a javanese keris.
