Default Small antique kris

I won this at an auction. This is one of the smallest antique kris in my collection. The overall length is about 24 inches. I am not sure if the scabbard is original. The wood in the handle does not seem like banati. I will still need to clean and etch the blade.

I like the ferrule especially.

The okir on the ferrule looks Sulu to me, backed up by the front part of the base of the blade with also indicates Sulu to me.

It also looks like it may have been originally junggayan but now with the back tall broken off on the pommel, but on this nothing is sure.

The scabbard style is also Sulu.

I also like the laminated ganga. I'll bet that after a good polish, the whole blade is laminated.
