Default 18thC Maratha?? Khanda-very big boy!!‏

A more unusual form of khanda and a big boy of an example toboot!! Probably of southern origin and Maratha provinance.

Blade length:73cm x 50cm
False edge:23cm
Overall length: 94cm
Weight:1300kg

The sword is in good general condition. The blade had a rich patina and some old rust pitting, the edge has been nicked here and there as well. The hilt is very firly attached to the blade with no movement. There is a small hole in the hilt cup. The pictures as ever tell the real story and more can be supplied upon request. In the hand a well balanced and brutal weapon.
£300 including shipping.
