Default Origin of this spear?

Hello,

a good friend get this spear with cut down shaft, the complete item was black painted. My guess would be somewhere from Africa, maybe Sudan but I am unsure. But I am very sure that some of our members will be able to pinpoint the exact origin of this piece.
Thank you very much in advance for your help!

I can't see Sudan due to the high central rib. Also, the apparent cut away design work at head of the blade maybe suggests South Asia. But then again, these are just guesses. Great spear regardless of origin.

There are also styles of spearheads with high and expressive cebtral rib in South Sudan, but the shape differs.I think the bottom part of the blade is not too typical for Africa, but, on the other side, It could be set up later by the owner (still in Africa) - I already met such case .....So the result of my mediation is zero .... And what about Middle East ?

I agree should be somewhere between India and South-East Asia...

Thank you all for your suggestions! So it don't seems to come from Africa and I am nearly sure that it isn't from Indonesia or the Philippines.
Still have the hope that someone will be able to tell us from where this interesting spear is exactly.

Detlef
