Hello Thomas.
I must say that the result is nice and the sumara looks very good now it is cleaned. the blade is also very nice. do you have some more pictures of the blade. But if I understand well, you removed the original old tin foil ? From historical view that is a bit of a pity. I see that the sikin panjang on the first 2 pictures has some silver foil on the scabbard. Thanks for teply. The tin foil was gone as I got the piece.there was only one little rest of it to see that it was tin. I got it like you see it on the pictures only with the glue left. So I decided to remove the glue.
