Default Two For Comments

Here are a couple of new swords/knives for comments. The first is a Spanish Colonial style sword or possibly a re-hilted bayonet? Overall length is 24-3/4 inches. Fullered blade 20" in length and 1-1/8" wide at the hilt. Handle is made of various length pieces of horns with brass spacers. I believe it to be from South America probably Mexico. The scabbard shown with this is not the right one for it. The second is 18" overall with a 13-1/8" razor sharp blade that is 1-3/8" wide at the hilt. Grip is horn with brass pommel and decorative band. The guard is copper. The scabbard shown with it seems to be the right one. Comments on the origin of these and possible age will be very welcome.
