Default Philippines Visayan Dagger

Finally got around to taking some pics of my Visayan Dagger I won off eBay about a year or so ago. The seller on eBay posted this up as a Japanese WWII dagger. Stating in the description his grandfather killed a Japanese solder and took it off him...so he believed it to be from Japan. I won this auction for $10US(no one else bid on this item). I always planned on posting it but never got around to it since it was nothing really spectacular or out of the ordinary. But after seeing Roberts great under-the-radar collection, I'll post this one up for reference. This dagger is very basic overall and just simple; but definitely the style and design of the Visayas region. If anyone can provide more details on this dagger, please let me know. I have no idea which specific place or the name of this type of knife would be called. Sorry for the poor camera skills.
