Default My First Flyssa ..... a few questions

Got this recently....a IMHO nice Flyssa....40 cms OAL with a blade that is 29cms long and a spine that is 8mm which distal tapers to the point. Very nice weight and feel. Was filthy and had a small amount of 'active' rust.
I have cleaned it ....cautiously....I don't want to remove too much of the patina.
I have a few questions....is this a good example? The patina suggests a fair old age..... would mid to late 19c be a reasonable assumption.....I wouldn't be surprised if this was earlier.
The blade seems to be very good quality, forged steel.....definately a 'user'

Thankyou
David
