Default JAVANESE PEDANG TRANSLATION REQUEST

Good day,

A fellow collector bought this pedang and asked me if I could help translating it.
The state of the scabbard is bad, and the hilt is in relic state. But the blade is susprisignly well conserved with a very bold inscription on both sides.

Can someone read this ? One side is arabic and the oter side javanese I guess...

Thanks and best regards,
Willem

Willem, something like this inscription would, in my opinion, need the attention of somebody probably over the age of 80 or even 90, or an academic. I have very good contacts, who are educated men in their 50's, and who can read Hanacoraka when it is absolutely standard, but when I have requested readings of the approximate things that have been put on weapon blades these men have invariably sought out much older people who finish up guessing the intended meaning.

At the moment the whole of Indonesia is in a terrible mess with covid. The possibility of sending something like this inscription for a reading no longer exists. The people who might be able to read it have survival on their minds.

The inscriptions are in Arabic.

The first is

ان فتحنا[لك] فتحا مبينا

'Indeed We have granted you a clear conquest' (Qur'an 48:1)

The second is the shahada or profession of faith

لا اله الا الله محمد رسول الله

'There is no god but God, Muhammad is God's Messenger'
