Default Don't Know Where Else

To post this uniform coat.
Horstman Philadelphia buttons identified as State of New Jersey (?) .

Hand sewn; silk striped sleeve lining; I cannot figure out the monogram .

Any ideas as to age and meaning of monogram ?

Blue wool; staples for shoulderboards .

From my Hippie daze; after a 30 year hiatus come home .
I'd forgot I even had it .

Very nice coat. You might want to post pics over on the antiqueguns.com site. They have a section for pre- and post- CW stuff under 'Ask the Experts'.

Hope they can help, Rick. It's a real beauty of a coat. I'm partial to some of the old uniforn helmets myself (particularly the French cuirassier's helmets, German pickelhaubs, etc). BTW, sorry to mention another Forum here, especially to a moderator!! ). They don't hold a candle to ours, though!
