Default Old daab for comment

I have recently won the shown daab, the other one shown in the pictures was also part of the auction but is very recent.

I think that the handle fittings are from silver but the ferrule near the blade is badly damaged, the scabbard is black lacquered like the middle part of the handle. The sword is 33" overall with a blade from 22".
I think that it is a Rattanakosin period daab from Laos and from Tai Lue in origin. But at always I could be wrong.

I HAVE A SIMILAR ONE,BUT MINE IS NOT AS OLD AS YOURS,ALL I KNOW ITS FROM THAILAND AND REALLY SHARP,WILL POST MINE SOON,CHEERS
