Default Baby Bousaadis

I don't think I've ever seen a Bousaadi this size before. First one is 11 cm, second one is 14.5 cm. They don't look they were cut down from larger blades. Neither came with a sheath.

Do you think they're small utility knives or perhaps souvenirs of a more luggage friendly size?

Turns out the larger of the two has a brass blade so I presume it's just a souvenir.

The other one's actually a sturdy little knife with an integral bolster. I've been using it to sharpen my pencil. I'm not sure if the engraving on the blade is a decoration or symbolic. I recall seeing a PDF of Berber symbols, they remind me a bit of those.

nice little variant bou saadi (algeria) khodmi knife. as you have noted it is not cut down, the shape & lines show it was made the way it is. it would indeed be a nice patch knife, or small utility knife. would be great for peeling fruit & veg.
