Default New Kattara

Always wanted to get one and recently bought it on E-Bay for a song.
Just arrived, still a bit shy, and is beginning to feel comfortable next to the new family members: South Arabian Nimcha, Bedouin Klych and Zanzibar sword.
It surely shows some age with leather losses, but otherwise it is complete and ready for action. The blade is very solid, not wobbly but overcleaned. I think it is of local manufacture and not European. Indian? Any advise?

Ariel,

Congrats on a very nice example of a rare sword. Blade does look to be an Indian one, as you know they were highly prized in Arabia from before the advent of Islam.
