Default Dayak mandau for ID

Hi everybody

I would like to have an estimation of age for this dayak sword.
I hope that somebody could tell me if this sword is from 19 TH C.
Total long is about 70 cm
Any comment on it is welcome
Best

Hello Cerjak,

I hope the Borneo experts will comment, too.

To me this looks like a post-WW2 piece with scabbard being rather recent.

BTW, it is not common to be able to positively identify a mandau as a 19th c. example. Many good old examples are early 20th c.

Regards,
Kai
