Default Dyak war canoe prow & more.

Cambridge Museum of Archaeology & Anthropology. Visited yesterday and here are a few highlights. Very difficult place to take photos, not enough light or too much light with too many reflection put me in every shot. A small permanent display. Like the Pitt-Rivers Oxford a teaching collection. I will add more as replies to start with.

Amazon, jaguar tooth necklace. Wayana ceremonial club made of light wood. I have to say not as good as mine which is heavy and I would say somewhat older.

Thumbs up

THANKS FOR POSTING THESE ITS ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO SEE PICTURES OF IMPORTANT MUSEUM COLLECTIONS. I THINK YOU DID VERY WELL CONSIDERING MUSEUM LIGHTING AND GLASS REFLECTION ECT. I CERTAINLY DIDN'T DO AS WELL WITH MY RECENT MUSEUM PICTURES. SOME NICE EXAMPLES FROM MANY PLACES SOME WOULD ADD GOOD REFERENCE POSTED IN SOME OF THE OLDER POSTS.
