A bit rich for this painting IMO.
Now a nice Gerome would of course dwarf this figure .

Rick,
if it was a pipe I would ....how you say...'take the 5th'

Well ....actually its a duel purpose stick...

Firstly its a device to summon 'my women' to 'nurse' me....simply by tapping the bowl...its second function is for use when in a threatening situation....its a sword 'unhooker'. It allows me to remain seated and reach my sword hanging on the wall.......it can be very frustrating trying to reach it ...when hung over and on your hands and knees.
You must be paranoid...I hear you say...'threatening situation'?
Well the truth of the matter is.....if I use the first function.....the second function is usually required very soon after.......so I can protect myself from her
Like most guys I thought a 'hang over' was a bona fide illness........SHE DISAGREES

Reminds me of a line from the miniseries "Weeds" that was on TV last night.

"Mr. Farrakhan kept asking me to come over to share a hookah. I thought he was saying 'hooker' and was into some weird perverted acts. Now I realize he was just being a Brother!"
