Default Kard in Damascus steel

good day Gentlemen

during my long trip back to Paris coming from Cairo, passing by Damas (Syria)
I found some (!!) ...
knifes
one of them it's that "kard", real damascus steel ("joar" in arabic)
not some "wootz" as we may found every where in our days

Real and with real "Jouhar" blade:-) I think it is Turkish/Ottoman. Is the handle made of stone? It looks like agate stone.
These, as well as Persian Kards, are scarce finds in Damascus, and even more so in Egypt:-). there are more Kurdish daggers and blades, but not many kards, especially as nice as yours? Happy New Year!

I agree its Ottoman remember Syria was part of the Ottoman Empire.
Grip looks like horn to me?

that knife costed me 15'500,00 SYL (syrian pounds)
