Very nice find Detlef, I wish the smaller auctions around where I live would produce items like these. Unfortunately it seems as though everything of any interest (to me always) always find their way to epray instead, where the bargains seem to be getting fewer and fewer though I still get lucky every once in a while. Again, my congratulations on your new finds.

After some maintenance the trumbash look now like this. Have cleaned the blade, oiled the wood and fixed the brass wire in up and down. What I have learend here at the forum is this example from around 1900.

Hello Detlef, Unfortunately as I know little of nothing about these I cannot comment on the age of this piece. I can however comment on the very nice job of cleaning and straightening of the wire work that you have done. Great job !!

Yes around 1900 very probably, may be 10 or 20 years younger at max.
