My dear friend,

before buying another keris you'd better buy some good books and study. Also read the keris forum and study the pictures carefuly. Take this keris and the other one you showed in the other thread, without receiving any comment, and put them far away in the attic.

We all have an attic with one of two of these things in which we spoiled our money. Sometimes we take it off the attic to show to others or to remember fot ourselves what we shouldn't buy.

I am afraid i have to agree with Henk. This is more what we term a keris-like object (KLO), a market item meant for the tourist trade. I am not sure why you have attached the name Bagaspati to this item either. Is this something the seller told you?

Default not purchased

Hi again... thanks for your replies..I hope u guys will not think im totally crazy but What if i tell you i did not buy these items but i got directly from local spiritual person.. My wife is Indonesian and they introduced me to him.. he showed me awesome objects and we went on a fieldtrip (i am an entomologist and was collecting insects)..
I saw him personally take objects from .... other dimension.. Today we will go back ...I saw him do amazing things.. Im very rational person so i did not believe what i saw ... Can this be happening or is this total scam ?
I saw already other objects .. he is 87 year old man .. living in the poorest conditons but he has acess to amazing stuff ...
We want to be sure if any of this is possible or not...
Please all your comments.

This KLO is probably meant as a charm or amulet, for esoteric use. It was probably made for the local market. I've seen a wide range of such objects when visiting keris markets in Java, stockist for the so-called supernatural 'dukun' (witch doctor) and the likes.

I asked many whom swear by these objects, called 'barang tarik' which literally means, 'pulled out' items from the mystical world, why only low quality objects are found and not those which are of good quality workmanship?

The power of a charm is in the belief of the person who carries the charm.

It is not in the charm itself.

The power of the dukun is in the belief of the person who engages his services.

Put simply:- if you believe that something has a special power, it does have that power --- for you.

Keris, and all sorts of other things, can be taken from "another dimension" .

Yesterday they were to be found in the stock of a local dealer.

All this business is good salesmanship and sulap.
