Not that I think they might be fake, Heavens forbid: I saw similar on another Jambiya or two. But they look Arabian ( as in Peninsula ![]() Recently, another knife was discussed http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=5825 It also had 3 prongs on the pommel. Any ideas? |

Pretty sure it's Kurdish... they make what to me is the most functional jambiya of all.
Who got it? I'd love to see it cleaned and etched. Sometimes they're wootz. |

Yes, I would definitely say Kurdish. Perhaps for a higher ranking person with the 9 silver (?) filigree bulbs.
