HELLO!
I´M TRYING TO REMEMBER THE POST ABOUT ONE RARE PARANG NABUR, MIX WITH A KASTANE. I REMEMBER WSA SIMILAR PARANG NABUR EXCEPT IN THE END OF HANDLE . SOMEBDY REMEMBER THE POST? OR IS POSSIBLE PUY AGAIN THE PICTURES? THANK YOU VERY MUCH CARLOS |

Don't quite understand what you mean by a Nabur mixed with a kastane. These are two very different swords from two very different places. Are you talking about a Nabur with some similarities to a Kastane?
Have you done a search using "Nabur" and "Kastane?" |

I think I remember the thread and had a look. But it was all discussing pictures from now dead eBay links. The hilt is a rare variation and genuine. Looks nice. Michael |

It's probably from SE Borneo and is of the style of swords carried by the local Malay people (not the Dayak tribes!).
