				 | just a tourist greek-ottoman dagger ?

Hello everybody, I just bought these two daggers, more for the ottoman model with the velvet scabbard, the mounts seems made of bad white metal, and seems a touristic ( greek ) piece but I liked the arabic engravings on the blade and guess the qama like hilt was made of horn, not expensive so I bought it. |

I received it and clean it a little, mounts are very heavy, seems made on coarse cast metal velvet seems recent on the scabbard. In the same time the blade is better than I expected, the ottoman fish-dragon chape is well made and seems silvered brass... Maybe an old greek decoration piece ? Or north african with ottoman influence ? |

So a mix between a qama-beibut dagger, an ottoman greek dagger and north african engravings... Oscillating between a fancy touristic recent stuff and a signed blade... Glad to receive your comments ! Kind regards !! |

Your stamp looks like but just looks like, your stamp is bigger and less deep than real stamps. Look at your sheat, the mounts are moulded its a nice old touristic object, and very decorative | |
